Are you willing to be persecuted?

If you want to be a witness to the Jewish people, you must be willing to be persecuted. Witnessing in general isn’t easy. Satan is indeed working everywhere to stop the gospel from spreading.

In Mathew 5 we read:

And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:

Blessed are the poor in spirit
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven

Blessed are those who mourn
For they shall be comforted

Blessed are the meek
For they shall inherit the earth

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness
For they shall be filled

Blessed are the merciful
For they shall obtain mercy

Blessed are the pure in heart
For they shall see God

Blessed are the peacemakers
For they shall be called sons of God

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you
and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righeousness sake For theirs is the kingdom of heaven

It is clearly written that persecution is going to follow you, if you walk in the way of the Blessed.

It takes a blessed person to be able to work his way through the blindness to find an open Jewish heart.

Witnessing to the Gentiles bears fruits more easily; persecution is severe indeed, also in many other places, to those who share the Good News with the world, even where Jewish people are not around. But nonetheless, the harvest is more plentiful, simply because God has designed it so!

Are you strong enough in your faith, in your grasp on the Cross, to venture into this field; working hard, against all odds, where you only light is the Light of the Cross?

Are you able to, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might; put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil; take up the whole armor of God; having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints (Ephesians 6), as a way of living?

Pray about it…

Stay blessed, my beloved, and stay tuned!
