My beloved,
I'm going to be taking a couple of days off again; just leave my busy schedule behind, and spend some quality time listening to God without disturbances. It is very hard to hear God when you are surrounded by so many distractions that demand your attention...
I am going to the place about which the prophet Zephaiah said:
And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks. And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the Lord their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.
Zephaniah 2:6-7
It is a beautiful area, where one can truly enjoy God's creation, and see his glorious hand everywhere one looks...
It used to be a Philistine territory in Bible times, and has a very rich history... You can read much about it here.
