Dancing between the raindrops

Walking with Jesus in faith is like dancing between raindrops. Yes, it is true; life is very difficult at times, and storms seem to hit us very often. But if we trust in God, and believe, truly believe, in our hearts that his plan is supreme and perfect, and that whatever comes our way doesn’t do it without God’s sovereign consent; and we allow ourselves to rejoice in him and in his creation and constant blessings, despite the harsh conditions, then he will honor it and bless us even more. He will allow us to walk where storms are raging and not get wet.
The whole idea behind our problems is Satan trying to steal our joy and thus also our blessings. When we allow our troubles to weigh us down, we reject in our spirit the blessings of God. We may not notice that we do it, but if we grumble and grunt, and look at everything around us through sinister glasses, then we miss our exit, which is usually decorated in a way only the sensitive heart catches… And we have to keep on walking on the same dreary road until the next exit… If we keep this attitude we never find the exit, and with all the storms on the way, end up soaking wet.
Stop worrying so much! God has it under control. He does by mere definition – He is God… If you know in your heart that God created the universe, and that he gave his only begotten son, Jesus, for you – so you can be free of sin and have eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven, then you should trust him, and allow him to guide you between the raindrops to a safe haven. He will never abandon nor forsake you.
You don’t have to take my word for it:
In Deuteronomy 32:4 we read,
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
Deuteronomy 31:6 instructs us to,
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Hebrews 13:5 tells us,
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Walking between raindrops

John 3:16 says,
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
In Psalm 18:30 we are told that,
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
And finally, in Revelation 21:3-7 we find,
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Stay blessed, and don’t let those raindrops fool you into getting wet…
